ORANGE BOWL PARK OF THE WEEK CELEBRATION
The Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance Park of the Week program recognizes select youth football parks across South Florida each Saturday during the fall as part of its continuous community engagement and support through the inclusion of sports.
At each Park of the Week visit, Orange Bowl Committee members, staff, ambassadors and OBIE, the Orange Bowl’s official mascot, entertain players and their families with in-game contests, promotions and giveaways while recognizing the efforts of park leaders, volunteers and parents. A commemorative plaque and financial contribution for park improvements is also presented at each visit.
ORANGE BOWL CHEER CHAMPIONSHIPS
Broward County Convention Center
The annual Orange Bowl Cheer Championships offers over 1,000 cheerleaders the opportunity to compete in a one-day competition. Over 100 teams from more than 30 parks compete in five divisions: mini, peewee, prep, varsity, and pro.
OBYFA YOUTH FOOTBALL CLINICS
The Orange Bowl hosts a series of Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance (OBYFA) youth football clinics every summer.
The clinics are free for boys and girls ages 5-14 and focused on proper safety, development, good sportsmanship, and education. Local college football coaches run participants through offensive, defensive, and agility drills, including proper techniques to promote on-field football safety.
Please check back for information on our 2025 clinics.
OBYFA CHEER CAMP
Each year, the Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance hosts a cheer camp in association with the National Cheerleading Association.
During the camp, cheerleaders participate in classes that are tailored their specific age group. They start with the basics and progress at the campers’ pace. Cheerleaders also participate in Safety Classes, Cheer/Chant Class, Dance Class, Motion Technique Class and more.
The Camp is FREE and open to all OBYFA Cheer Coaches and Cheerleaders.
